DMN Editorial Praises Farmers Market Compromise(2)

“Thanks to the efforts of Councilwoman Delia Jasso, a thoughtful compromise was reached in the City Council’s Transportation and Environment Committee earlier this week. With any luck, it will be a boon for local farmers, small businesses and residents. We urge the full City Council to approve the recommendation when it returns in August from its summer break.”

We had an incredible turnout at Kidd Springs for the Dallas Symphony Orchestra’s second visit to the park. Families, neighbors, and more came out in droves to witness the wonderful performance by Dallas’ amazing ensemble. My husband Juan and I had the pleasure of performing with the orchestra for Verdi’s “Anvil Chorus”. Roy Appleton, of the Dallas Morning News posted more about the evening here.
